Two main Tyre Pressure monitoring systems used by BMW:

1. Flat Tyre Monitor System (AKA BMW RPA), has standard rubber valves and works on wheel rotation through the ABS Sensors
   
2. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (AKA BMW RDC), works off sensors in the wheel, usually has metal steamed valves, which can monitor the Tyre Pressure and the Temperature in near real-time
   

   
   

Several Issues Experienced (at different times), where this approach has worked:

1. Flat Tyre Alert warning constantly displaying for a suspected flat Tyre, plus "Perform Reset" greyed out. Tyre Pressures were all normal when checked
   
2. Tyre Pressure Status image has all tyres greyed out, plus "Perform Reset" greyed out. Tyre Pressures were all normal when checked
   

Days of effort were wasted trying to solve the above issues, particularly issue number 1. This solution was found to be the most effective was to basically turns off the RPA or RDC via coding, then turn the RPA or RDC back on, thereby resetting it fully.

TRY THESE APPROACHES AT YOUR OWN RISK! One must be skilled at coding BMW's to attempt this. (However, both approaches have worked for me)

1. RPA Approach

Coding to do:
HU_NBT > 3001, code RPA  >>> set to nicht_activ  
HU_NBT > 3001 > REFEINUEBERWACHUNG_RDC_RPA  >>> (was set to: RPA) set to nicht_activ 
CODE NBT
Restart system/Ignition and then code back:
HU_NBT > 3001, code RPA  >>>  set back to activ 
HU_NBT > 3001 > REFEINUEBERWACHUNG_RDC_RPA  >>> set back to RPA
CODE NBT


2. RDC Approach

Coding to do:
HU_NBT > 3001, code RDC_SAFETY >>> set to nicht_activ 
HU_NBT > 3001, code RDC  >>> set to nicht_activ  
HU_NBT > 3001 > REFEINUEBERWACHUNG_RDC_RPA  >>> (was set to: RDC) set to nicht_activ 
HU_NBT > 3001 > RDC_FORTSHRITTSANZEIGE  >>> set to nicht_activ  
CODE NBT

Hi i retrofit my 08/10 f10 with nbt but i can not reset flat tier .if i install back to my hucamp i can reset it . This coding solve myproblem?

It's likely the NBT is coded to the incorrect option that your vehicle has natively
It would be worth reinstalling the huchamp and checking which system your vehicle natively has (RPA or RDC see pics in initial post). Then trying the appropriate option for your vehicle. You may also need to code out the option not required to fully remove it from the NBT code.

This sounds like a similar problem that got me to finding these solutions.


Alternatively, VO code the NBT module in E-Sys as it might resolve a raft of things the NBT might not be playing nice with.
