What cause black screen on NBT EVO?
I have NBT EVO ECE came straight from the car same unit with same screen id6 but when power it's showing black screen. I can see EVO is alive in Esys it takes CD etc I can code it. Tried exactly the same VO as donor VIN but still black screen. What is actually the problem?

If you hear the voice, there maybe not component protection.
Try to code FDL CID to choose apix2, 8_8", 1280x480 you will turn the screen on.  |

It was working on the car in scrap yard before it was removed. there was no coding done or anything I've powered it up on the bench as usual but screen is black. Re-flashed unit but no change. |

If you can code it then it should be good. You can try reading the DTC by Tool32 to investigate.
