The question is what are you trying to accomplish? Just tuning?
Boot mode on Siemens MSV80 / MSD8x is not simple, and usually unnecessary. |

Yes, only tunning or read ISN.
I read this thread http://blog.obdii365.com/2018/07/12/clon...with-ktag/ So I have to worry about it and do it Kess? I have clone. Are you asking me to explain the driver from the car and give a stable 12V 5A power supply? |

Did you read F01 MSD85 by Kessv2? I tried through E71 but without success. Kess says that the ECU is unknown. I need to clone this ECU. I tried to read outside the car. Maybe I should try to read the ECU in the car?

You cannot clone it with clone tools. These have very strong security.

So the only way is to read the ISN from the old ECU and copy it to the new ECU? CGDI BMW can do it?
