As the subject states, I have a MSD81.2 ECU from a N43, I want to use this ECU for a 335i N54, can I swap the software without problems? Will it even work?

I could not find the answer on the internet.

Hmmh, the 6 cilinder uses the same MSD81 ECU, I am wondering why it should not work? Difference in hardware?

The 6 cylinder does not use 'the same' msd81 ecu.

N54 is MSD81.0
N43 is MSD81.2

Hmmh, technically it is the same ECU but different hardware, exactly what I was thinking but I was not so sure about that. In that case, I have my answer. Thanks
