Combox retrofit keeps calling emergency services
Hi all
Hoping somebody can help me I installed a combox telematic into my car this evening with a diy retrofit harness Whenever I connect the battery the sos button in the car turns green and dials the emergency services. As wasting emergency services time is something I really do not want to do again I need to work out why its doing this before trying again. Does anybody have any suggestions? I refitted the TCU and MULF2 into the car again and all is working as it should. Also can I just remove the SOS pins and use it as a combox media as I don't really care about the SOS features in the car |

Hey, I've retrofitted also the Combox and replaced mulf2 and TCU. The funny thing is, that my SOS-Feature is not working and I wish it would be.
Back to the Topic: Occurs the problem after coding the VO in CAS and NFRM or before you did so? Do you really her the people on the emergency-line or is there just a message in the cic? |

No I can't even code the car as it is the moment the battery is reconnected I am hearing a voice asking what emergency services I need, I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and it was a female voice the second time round so it is definitely connecting me to somebody in a call centre. |

Hi,
I have no pinout available here, but it seems, that the SOS button is the issue. So, check your selfmade adapter or wiring again. Thorsten BMW OEM FSC codes for Apple CarPlay 143 and 17B, AndroidAuto 1CA, MGU and MGU21 region conversation and others

Hi All,
I managed to get the problem solved thanks for your help.There was the tiniest knick in the wires between the led and the SOS button which was causing a short. Rewired and fully insulated the problem is now gone
