Hello how to update a map off BMW e60 2009 the usb in glove box don't detect any usb with maps. 
The system is cic, how can I update for Road Map Europe West Premium 2019

Yes, same map on 3 dvd-s. You must get dual layer discs, use imgburn.

This unit have small disc i think there is no problem when updating the map? Because the 3 dvds is mucht bigger thant the capacitie off the disc!

Both.
You can update with 3 dvd's (it's not big than hard drive capacity, if you use 3 USB it will be the same), or you can update CIC firmware and be able to update normally by USB.

Keep in mind you will need icom to update E series CIC, since you will use MOST.

Without software update DVD-DL can't be readed, only DVD 4.7 GB.
After software update USB and DVD-DL no problem...
