If the dump is in miles, it will be corrected to miles and display miles. And the car will not start.

Test your dash and if it is still functioning properly, unsolder the eeprom and read it again.

i desoldered it to begin with ...i never try to read on board i always remove

on the first read i got this file

then on a second read i got file
#2

i read a few more times and keep getting same as file #2

so i edited file #2 to 71135km creating file
#3

i put file #3 on the chip and resoldered it to board

dash works ...vehicle starts ...but mileage display blinking  -------

so now i wonder wat is next best move to save time and keep from soldering to much times.

i removed chip again and read since blinking -------

got file #4 and keeeep getting file #4

....????? tell me wat you think
