Opel Astra G immobilizer
Friends
I have Opel Astra G 2002 client who happened to lost his keys. I dismantled the vehicle to look for key data ..i cannot see any immobilizer box. Its Ecu doesnt contain key data as well..I guessed so because when I opened, I could not see any eeprom. if you know this vehicle, help me where to find immo data. I tried programming it with x100 using OBD, it says security code error even when I enter security code that the machine gives me, I think I should try Tango. to make key by dump. regards |

immobox is on ignition lock, remove it and made it on desk, program transponder with effi , or tmpro2 or tango.

RE: Opel Astra G immobilizer
Okay mate, first, what tools do you have with you? Do you have carprog, or ABRITES?
If so, read the pin code from it. then program with any obd 2 programmer like SBB, Launch, SKP, etc. Or, get the key ring, it will have the codes LS. Open it, desolder the board from the pins and turn it over, you will find a TMS chip, read with any code reader that supports it, I use X-prog, and does just fine. Then prepare a key with PCF7935. If doing by OBD, make sure to precode it to ID40 chip first. Now, in the event that it is refusing to accept the pin code the way you have described, chances are that the ECU was divorced from the vehicle by some other programmer, or it was reset. All you have to do is read the pin code from the immobilizer, enter it, then go to immobilizer(best done with OPCOM) and immobilizer functions, re-marry the ecu to the immo. then cycle the ignition to off then back on, and proceed to program the key. All that said, kindly share with us the vehicle history, and what exactly you have done so far, and what has failed or worked. Then what tools you got with you. Because you say the pin you entered is not accepted. How did you get this said pin? Secondly, never forget to hit the reputation button if a person's response has helped you. Regards sorry, saw you solved this issue. Admin, kindly have this closed. I live a life of favour
