Kessy Key not found error on Octavia 2.0 TDI
Recently my cousin purchased an used Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI. There is an issue with keyless entry system. car only start in emergency mode ( by bringing key to near start/stop button and press the button with the key ). Also it keeps showing up "Key Not found" error while driving the car. Any clue on fixing this?

had this issue on a suzukkie sx4 last week changed battery in remote and started working again its pos this may the issue with yours mate cant be 100% but worth trying

I have already swapped battery to new one in remote. Still not working. Previous owner says car had water damage so there might be something with lock system itself?

Open key and check if pcb clean no corrusion no water ............. Did you test key if his throwing freqeuncy ?

No, I havent tested frequency. Is there any specific way to test it?
Will check key for corrosion. |
