XZBMW  Auto PDC on BMW F Series
Hello friends,
Is there any chance to have Auto PDC feature on F series? What i mean, is that when go under a certain speed (10 km/h for example) the front parking sensors auto activate. Can it be done by coding with ESYS?The car is equipped with PMA2 ecu. It has the auto parking feature. It also has the Kafas camera and collision assist feature.

It is activated automatically when you approach any object at low speed, front or rear... Check the setting in iDrive.

RE: Auto PDC on BMW F Series
Ok, my car is a F20(2012) and it doesn't have AutoPDC. It automatically turns on the sensors when putting the gear lever in reverse, but that's all. The car is equipped with PMA2 ecu. It has the auto parking feature. It also has the Kafas camera and collision assist feature.

Which gen of PMA you have? For F20, you will need gen2 to work with Auto PDC
gen1: 6 front sensors + 4 rear sensors
gen2: 6 front sensors + 6 rear sensors

I have 6 front sensors and 4 rear sensors. Than means that i have PMA gen 1 ECU. Strange thing is that ESYS listed my ecu as PMA2. Do you have a part number for PMA 2 ecu? Where is located in the car? Thank you.

Yes, e-sys show the ecu name PMA2 for both gen1 and gen2.
It’s 66337938190 on my F20 LCI for PMA2 gen2.
The ecu is behind the right trunk trim, you will need to remove the trim to access it.
