I have 2011(dec) F25 with CIC mid, so small screen with navigation as from.factory.
Simple question (I cannot see from the unit back right now...) is this unit always witm MOST interface?
I'm planning to upgrade bluetooth and posible conne ted drive

yes, always most, due ZGW-MCIC have most connection. thoze non most HU became usual later, after 2013, or very late 2012.

Thank You for the answer. I cheked today with ISTA and, yes, there is MOST indeed, unfortunately none except CIC is present in bus .
Next question:
Retrofitting BT and streming is no problem at all, but how about Connected Drive?
I assume I should buy Combox Telematics as for h/w.
But, how can I connect it to my CD account? I urge tu use my account.
I tried to ad my new car in account, but it refused it saying something like that my car is not cabable for CD as it officially today is true.

Adding your car to CD isn’t possible, BMW didn’t support any retrofit of this.

Hmm, yes, I cheked from ISTA and indeed there is no retrofit for CD.
But, if I code (and installl) or bits and pieces and then do scanning my car with AOS, then there is "somewhere" in Munich information that there is CD parts in my car .
I guess the problem is that CD service looks only the original VO from what the car came from factory.
In Finland old cars (pre 7/2014) have to manually connect anyway = makeing call and mails to Munich CD service.
What about call them and expalin my situation .
I think, I try my luck.
Next question:
Is there any harm putting Combox Telematics (assuming i cannot connect CD at final) instead of Media?
I mostly like to have BT and music streaming from my Android phone.

You can put any Combox in. But if you don’t want telematics part. Don’t connect power to pinn1. Only 2.

Some progress:
Hands free and music streaming ok, USB does not work, but I gues that is because i tried a bit stretch my too short USB cable...didn't stand it

But:
I cannot use Office (reading SMS's, mails etc) what is missing?
Coded: 612, 615, 616, 633, 6AA, 6AB, 6FL, 6NK, 6VC
I tried 6NS, but it's not accepted.
What is missing or wrong?

Connected Drive:
I can update CD services with BT connection but not without it.
I'm thinking if I have to connect pin 1 or not? Currently I previred it, but put no voltage there.
CD service answered to me that my car cannot be bind, because there is no Intelligent Notruf and no Teleseervices.

Some progress..or not.
Now USB and Office is also working (my mistakes), but it seems that Connected Drive is not possible.
My Combox is probable bound in some other VIN (I mean IMEI and SIM numbers originally with an other VIN), and that might be one problem.
CD service in Munich is silent (there is no answer to my mails), as told upper to me, they cannot bind something that is not possbile because of factory VA.
My final question:
As my car is 10/2011, is it impossible to bind straight to my smartphone CD app?
In newer cars (2014) this works ok as have seen.
It is quite funny that whenever I start my car, my Samsung informs me that all the CD features a availabe (eventough they are not).
