RE: Toyota Auris 89170-02J40 crash
Hi, a car will be available tomorrow. However, there are quite a difference in those binary files i.e. between volavka and superjet. Will let you know regarding the results. Cheers

RE: Toyota Auris 89170-02J40 crash
The errors on both eproms are deleting themselves. A driver's air bag error still remains - B1802
Fitting of 2.2 ohm resistor does not help either. Didn't the airbag controller endure airbag detonation?
Any suggestions? Cheers

RE: Toyota Auris 89170-02J40 crash
B1802 mean short circuit to ground, you need check the wire ,do you disconnected the wire from the airbag module and check it report open circuit failure DTC?

RE: Toyota Auris 89170-02J40 crash
There is a constant error B1802 either on connected or disconnected airbag. Wires checked. Resistor simulation does not bring any effect. It seems like a controller failed, however I might be wrong.

RE: Toyota Auris 89170-02J40 crash
B1802 Short in D squib circuit (to ground),you need clear DTC and disconnected the Spiralcable and read DTC,if change to B1801, means the Spiralcable not plug enough, reinsert.if not change ,disconnect the SRS module side pin to check the DTC,if change means the circuit short to ground.
