Hello,

i try to retrofit ACC on a 2016 F16. But the problem is that it won´t work

The ACC Sensor is mounted.. the wiring fo 12V/Ground and the S-CAN between ACC-KAFAS-ICM is done also. The knobs on steering wheel are changed too. FA for Driving Assist plus is added. The ACC is programmed and coded correctly and also seen in diagnostic.

So whats missing here.. Maybe a FSC?

Did you build suitable ICM and DSC controllers?

Hello,
the DSC is the right one cause the car has SA 5DPA (Parkassist).
For the ICM im not sure if its the right one

The funny thing is that the normal cruise controle is working such as nothing has been added to the car?!
Diagnosis gives only a error in communication between KAFAS and ACC.

I think the car doesnt really know that there is ACC installed (besides FA).

So some important step is missing here

The ICM control unit is available as a basic version and a high version. The high version differs in that it has:
- A larger microcontroller (required for calculation of the control operation of Integral Active Steering and Active Cruise Control)
- A redundant sensor system for lateral acceleration and yaw rate (safety requirement for Integral Active Steering).

and

Diagnosis of the ACC control unit is performed via the ICM control unit. If the ICM control unit is faulty or not connected, diagnosis cannot be carried out for the ACC control unit.

So if you don't have the proper ICM (i mean High Version), it's like you do not have an ACC, and that's exactly what happens to you!

Just checked the ICM and what should i say. According to the ETK, its the right one (Part No.6875995)
So Hardware is the right one..so it must be a coding issue i think

If anybody can help me out, i would be very grateful.

Double Check also the DSC pump not to be Basis
It should be written on it DSC ACC or.something like this.

Hello, just checked it again. Its DSC premium. And you´re right. Its labeled with DSC F15 ACC

Everything seems right, but something not

What ecus did you code after changing the FA?
