Need help with programming JBE with ISTA-P on Mini R56 JCW
Has anyone tried programming JBE of 2009 Mini R56 JCW UK spec?
Well, my problem started after installation of the NEW JBE. Originally my car don't have windscreen heater installed but with the new JBE it is trying to connect to winscreen heater and complain no message from the IKHA and FRM module. I am present with the following errors with the attached image My question is : 1. Is programming with ISTA-P on JBE required? 2. Can this be done with USB K+DCAN cable ? Any suggestion is much appreciated. Many thanks. |

The last i tried was couple of years back and it is asking for prg file that i can't find. Anyway i have not use NCSEXPRT would appreciate if you can provide some pointers. I recalled that unable to try out NCSEXPERT because not running XP or Windows 7, i am on Windows 10. I will try to install NCS EXPERT on virtual machine with windows 7 now. Many thanks. |

It will be much easier for you to update the module via Winkfp, and yes, you can do that with a K-DCAN cable.

RE: Need help with programming JBE with ISTA-P on Mini R56 JCW
hey guys,
Many thanks for your prompt respond. Last couple of days i wasn't able to access to this site not sure why. I am sorry delay in responding. First I have installed the NCSexpert and winKFP on my win10 and tested working-pulling the CAS inform from the car. I am totally dummy in using NCS and winkfp. Would appreciate if you guys be patient with me. First i need to get rid of one entry in my VO, which is the EMOA, which i have accidently added in when was checking with ISTAP. I have tried the procedures below for at least 4 times, but the EMOA entry still in the VO. This is what i have gone thru with NCS to remove the VO entry: Before i gone in to details i have installed BimmerGeeks Standard Tools. 1. Launch inpa to confirm connection is okay with the car 2. load "Manipulation" profiles provided 3. Start - F1 4. Chassis - F3 - select R56 5. Choose ECU - selected CAS 6. Edit VO/FA - F2 7. Back - F7 8. Process ECU - select CAS 9. Change Job - Select FA-write 10. Execute Job 11. Repeat the for FRM 12. Power cycle for at least 10 second Below is my VO list: R56_#0309&T9E1%0851$210$226$249$255$2PA$313$314$322$329$345$346$383$420$423$428$431$441$450$481$493$4AA$4AU$4BA$4BD$4UF$520$521$522$534$548$550$563$5AA$5DD$5DT$6FC$6FD$6ND$785$818$825$845$853$861$864$872$876$880$8S2$8TG$925*MF92-A070-EMOA-EWS4-SDON Second, which is to recode my new JBE. Would appreciate if anyone can lend a helping hand by providing a brief instruction to go about coding this in NCSEXPERT + winKFP. Please help. Many thanks. Update: Managed to get rid of the EMOA from my VO list. My bad missing the delete key press after highlighting the VO entry. Now working on the coding the new JBE. My VO list after remove of the EMOA - R56_#0309&T9E1%0851*MF92$210$226$249$255$2PA$313$3 14$322$329$345$346$383$420$423$428$431$441$450$481 $493$4AA$4AU$4BA$4BD$4UF$520$521$522$534$548$550$5 63$5AA$5DD$5DT$6FC$6FD$6ND$785$818$825$845$853$861 $864$872$876$880$8S2$8TG$925-A070-EWS4-SDON |

HI Dextuar, Would you mind share how to update the module with winkfp. I have no clue at all on updating the module with winkfp. This will be my first time using winkfp. Many thanks. |

RE: Need help with programming JBE with ISTA-P on Mini R56 JCW
There are thousands of manuals available in google after one minute searching. First, simply use coding tool to update Winkfp with sp-daten from your model and then copy VIN from NCS. Go to WinKFP>comfort mode>update ZUSB>enter VIN> Done>Prog.ZB-Update>OK
