Passthrough VAS5054A Connection Issue
Hi guys!

I'm trying to get Mercedes DAS working through my VAS5054A (Bluetooth) and am having an issue.
I'm not convinced the laptop is connected to the adapter. Windows 10 shows that it is paired, it does ask for the password to connect to it, but the adapter beeps all the time (as if it thinks you forgot to remove it) and Xentry reports;

Fatal Error (104)
No SAE J2534 configuration is available.

Does anyone know how to address this issue? I suspect the laptop may not actually be connected to the adapter.

I bought the adapter from ebay and paid for the 'full chip version' but am now wondering if it's correct. It does have an OKI chip and the AMB3200 bluetooth module. It says it supports these protocols;

K Line (ISO9141-2)
High-speed CAN(ISO 11898-2)
Low-speed CAN (ISO11898-3)
J1850 (SAE J1850)

Any help would be appreciated!

RE: Passthrough VAS5054A Connection Issue
You have not installed the correct J2534 drivers for your VAS5054. This is why Xentry can not see it when trying to start.

OK, so driver installation is required?

I thought Vas5054 only working with Xentry with Cable Connection.

Is Xentry working with VAS5054a over Bluetooth also????

I have installed the drivers you mentioned, and only connected to it through cable. I would like the best connectivity possible, when doing Vediamo flashing, so wouldn't even consider Bluetooth.

My understanding is that it does. I will know more shortly when I install the driver! smile

This makes sense to me. I will do the same.
