Hi Guys,

Around september this year I swapped my intake manifold for the 3 stage intake manifold found on the pre LCI 330i (MSV70). I used the RSA delete from Bimmerlabs and the batchfile and tunes they supply to program the MSV80 to use the 2 new DISA valves. 2 Tunes are offered one using the MAF and another one that doesnt use the MAF it uses the o2 sensor and is a more complex tune. I ended up flashing the No MAF tune with succes and had no problems.

I used WinKFP for the tune set up how it is suggested on the tune supplier website.

Now the problem starts. Recently I wanted to try to use the MAF tune. So I did like before and used the batch file supplied for the tune but the flash failed and now my DME cannot be read anymore. I did many mistake during my flash like not using chargers, leaving door opens (it seems it can throw the flash off), and maybe many more.

When I go in INPA and try to read error, for the DME it displays ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED. I've asked around on facebook groups and I get people saying my DME is probably soft bricked, in boot mode or transport mode but not much more info on how I can fix it.

I've seen some people in here with a good knownlege of WinKFP and the flashing process. Does anyone knows how I cant fix this issue and regain communication with the DME ?

I know I have a lot to learn but I would really like to learn from that mistake and be able to successfully perfom flash in the future and be able to learn to others afterwards.

I would flash it with stock flash files (+programming section too), and then when recovered, start from the very beginning with the custom files.

Here I have a error log if it can help. I am not sure how I can flash the DME since it is how out service I cannot communicate with it..

So you are saying I should try to flash manually the .ipo and .prg file for the MSV80 (or the files i got from the DATEN) ? I have a pretty basic knowledge of this so bear with me plz.
