a few weeks ago a friend of my bought a new car.

Seat Leon 1.4TSI with a MED17.5.20 ecu
i read out original file with kess.
he did the tune at other company bud was not happy with it...
so i readout the tune file and compare it with stock file.
I saw some changes but could not place it. because I am not so familiar with this type.


so today i approached someone through here asking if he wanted to look. 
he soon indicated that it was not all right.
He has made a new and good tune and sent it to me. 
after writing the car did not start ... the fan did start. so it's a checksums error.
I approached the person again and reported this.
 he immediately told me that he has already corrected the checksums with original winols. 
He then gave me a few files including 1 without the checksums.
Kess asks me to load ori file for checksums so I follow the procedure as it tells me. 
but the same problem car does not start.
if i write back the tuned file read from car then there is no problem... 
 can anyone tell me what goes wrong here? see files in the attachment

Hi, if you just do this:

* Write the original back (the car works well)
* In WinOLS, transfer the changes you need from the tuning file to the original file - without recalculating the checksum by WinOLS.
* Write the resulting file - Kess himself correct the checksum -  if he asks, offer him the ori for recalc

I think that this way should work.
