F10 CAS4 EDC17C50
Hi,
Customer need to replace engine ECU EDC17C50. I read cas4 and based on key generate long ISN. Now I need to write that ISN to ecu. I know pinout and boot pin location, i wateing for can adapter fo cgpro. If I post dump from engine ecu, somebody can write that ISN to it? Or it can't be done?Do I need correct checksum after that or not? If I helped, please magic buttons thx+rep

i have had ecu's totally dead in the car but can still be read in boot mode on the bench, have you tried to read in boot mode

And...cgpro and his can adapter faild me....while trying to read ecu I get message that target chip does not respond.
How can I read that ecu?
