ok podblo, i see whats wrong, pin 1 to 3on my board are not soldered and pin 9 to 13 on the other side are not soldered, i'll get to work and let you know how i got on, cheers.

i did resolder ALL of pins connecting the PCB again - becouse in one case there wase bad/cold solder. Plus on the back of my PCB there was 2 pins soldered together (i did remove excess solder) by mistake. I did circle problematic areas on my VCP - pins connecting connector where compleatly resoldered + pins for connecting usb cable. Please you need to know not all of 16 pins from connector are connected/wired to PCB (this is normal).

hi podlbo, i know i don't need all 16 pins soldered but i soldered em any way, i also had two pins soldered together, the k line and the l line, so i removed the bridge, still no connection, i'm gonna call it a day, it must be a dud cable somehow, i'll pick up another one, i can't be that unlucky to get two bad cables in a row, lol, goodluck podlbo, thanks for all your help.

you can check also if USB cable is OK (if i remember i also have slightly pinched red cable by VCP cover plastic - no big deal) .... So all the wires are actualy OK.

at the end, if all falls down you can tray to "oven metod"


Put your pcb in heated oven (200 deg) for 8-10 min -> cool it down -> test
In worst you will "fry" your VCP, and in best all will start to work

LOL, i've just seen this podlbo, my cooking skills are worse than my soldering skills, i've binned it, gonna get another one, goodluck podlbo, c ya round.

I am facing the same issue.

I think clone cannot communicate on CAN and UDS protocols. I just works on K-Line.

I tried re-soldering but didnt help. Any other solution?
