Mine is 2009 A3 2.0 tdi, (CBAB) haven't tried it on any other motor, i have red light on cable when i plug in, i'm assuming that is for for letting me know that cable is getting voltage from the car, all the drivers are installed and working properly, cable drivers installed ok, port settings ok, all on win 7 32bit, must be a dud cable, thanks for dropping in willinickersen, goodluck.

will vcp 5.5.1 clone work with VW Polo 2018 type AW? Or is the latest version needed?
I need to turn off the start-stop.

yes i have a green light when i plug usb into laptop but i also get a red light when i plug into obd, should the red light not be lit ?

You may need the original version, but to enable or disable start /stop, you can test through the "Guided functions" in the clone version

I have the same problem, cannot connect to any ecu. Had the same 2 pins bridged, removed the solder bridge but it made no difference...

Anybody had any success fixing this issue?

I think you all have a very bad cheap clone... But I have tested several different VCP PRO and I have also one piece of original license VCP PRO and there's a big difference... But there's are good working clone....
If you guys are doing a lot of VAG's, I suggest you buy the original VCP PRO, the price is absolutely fine....
