Help needed: ISTAGUI.cfg
I had cylance installed which quarantined the istagui.cfg. I fixed that and removed cylance, and the file is in the folder however, I can't get the app to start, it's continuously failing with:
2019-05-25 01:50:28.413 ERROR [T] Thread-ID: [1] Caller-PID: [13944] Program.Perform() - failed with exception: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'BMW.Rheingold.CoreFramework.CoreFramework' threw an exception. ---> System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'ISTAGUI.cfg': Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) If I have the file in place why can't it be accessed? |

My ISTA install using the standalone installer installed things into:
C:\EC-APPS\ISTA\TesterGUI\bin\Release I've seen people talk about c:\rheingold but that folder didn't get created by the installer. |

Extract from your downloaded ISTA v4.17.xx.xxxxx.7z the ISTAGUI.cfg to C:\EC-APPS\ISTA\TesterGUI\bin\Release.

Re extracted and replaced existing file and it didn't help, it's still getting access denied.
I just removed all of the vc redist installers on the computer and redo the standalone installer and that also didn't help. The file is definitely there, it just can't be accessed for some reason. |

Sorry, extreme noob question. On the fresh windows install during the standalone installer the unzip commands are failing but they are failing so fast in the cmd box i can't see why. i have installed .7z and set .7z files for everyone but the zip commands inside the installer must not be calling it.
How do I see the errors during the install of the zip commands or what do I do to fix the unzip? note that i can click on the file myself and extract the contents... |

ugh, found it. Last time I had downloaded the files to a different folder, this time I took the megazone app default folder which has a space in the name. The installer zip extractions don't work when run from a folder with a space in the name.
