G30 Display key retrofit
Hi everyone!
While searching around on the internet about this retrofit, I found a post on another forum about a guy o says that he VO code 3DS on the car, but that's the only thing he says he has done. Has anyone done this retrofit that can enlighten us about this with some information? Does this is really the only needed? What module to recode? How to do the key pairing to the car? Thanks in advance to everyone who can give us all some information |

There is official retrofit. Just buy key from dealer and then recode car with this retrofit option

My problem is the dealer will not sell me a key. As it’s not an option for my vin, they will not even order it.

I had an issue with a dealer saying they could not sell me Display Key since it was not a US option for the G01 X3. However, there are companies online that can sell you a retrofit kit. Just google it and look through the first couple of options that come up.

i am interested as well. if my US G30 has this option listed in VIN options list (i just didnt receive the display key with the car from US), it means i can order the display key and encode it myself, or dealer will have to do that? Thanks
