Sid803 Ford Expert needed
Hello guys,
I have a big problem with my 2005 Ford Focus C-max 2.0 diesel sid803 i bought 2 months ago. When i bought the car i noticed that it had several problems, the fuel gauge did not work, there were several dtc regarding brake lights, the car had and hotstart issue and a lot of black smoke from what i believe was a bad chiptuning attempt.
Bought a fvdi j2534 , installed Ford IDS 113, downloaded the calibration files from this forum and tried to do a pcm reprogramming. I started the process, it detected that there is a newer version for the ecu software , click next ...and it started deleting the files from the PCM then it gave me and error(the operation cannot begin because the pcm failed to complete a service procedure. Perform PMI on the pcm to resolve the issue). I tried to perform PMI but with no success because IDS doesn t recognize the PCM anymore. Connected with galetto but in the identification screen is only scrambled data.
Can this PCM be saved by full bdm write, should i buy one from the scrap and try to perform PMI with the same fvdi j2534?
Thank you for your time
P.S the fuel indicator works fine nowsmile)
