HQ op-com 2014
I just bought the 2014 version of op_com or vaux.-com with firmware 1.60
It has cost me 200euro, and to my surprise when I've been tested on a opel astra g 2004 is not entering the airbag and the. cooling module

I've tried the Chinese clone opcom and works best


In summary it appears that the HQ opcom clone or vaux-com with firmware 1.60 does not work well

very careful when buying stuff on ebay

I used the VAUX-COM 131223d on Astra G and I had same issues as you.
I used then the OP-COM 131223c in the same car and have no issues.
The firmware of interface it is 1.60
But if you like you can downgrade the firmware using OCflash and the 1.59 firmware that I shared in the forum
So the problem it is VAUX-COM 131223d and it is a version bugs. Original softwares with genuine tool it has the same issues.
From rumors i understood that the new version and the new firmware 1.61 will fix this issues.
JFI - The softwares for HQ clones are the same and the clone hardware are the same too. But if you have the same issues wiif you are using any software versions then this could be a hardware issue.

I checked the versione that I shared and does not work well, not if the problem is hardware, I've only tried one Chinese clone and it works great on this car

any option to copy the dump to upload on forum

Mprog or FTProg to read the EPT file (dump) from FTDI.
About PIC, maybe external programmer ? I believe it is protected.

P.S. : I'm still confused why this OP-COM hardware is called HQ ?
Just because it has a new firmware and the ability to work with newer versions ?
Basically it is the same old hardware (no mods needed). Usually I expect to call a HQ clone when hardware is better not because the software is updated. But that's just my opinion.

Yes you have right
The HQ it is a name that you call this kind of tools to not make confusion when you bought an op-com that works with this newer version and the opcom that used the not modificated old versions
This opcom hardware it is the best ine in chinese market. Now as I saw the chinese sell the newer version opcom v6 which do not use the eeal PIC and that tools cannor works with newer version
If you try to upgeade or downgrade the firmware in that new opcom v 6 hardware you'll block the PIC and we talked in other thread how to make it works again.
But for sure the tool that McMihai bought it I suppose that there's a problem
I tested once an Astra G using Vaux-Com 131223d and has similar issues but only in this Astra G. I tested in the same moment again using Op-Com 131223c ( which is using fw 1.59 ) but I didn't downgrade the firmware I still used it the tool as it is with fw 1.60 and there's no problems.
Then I tried the lastest romanian version ( the one that use the fw 1.60 too- not the one that Mr. mcMihai shared here which use the fw 1.47 ) and it is working good.
I spoke with UK friends who own the genuine vaux-com and they had the same issues with this version.
Ilexa.co.uk fixed the issue but the guy who told me didn't know what they did in his computer via Team View.
The only thing that he knows that after this his tool has fw 1.61
I belive it is a bug of vaux-com
The opcom revision B it is the lasts and only revision hardware that was and it is sold in china
Revision C was a Revision B + and adaptor
Revision D it is totally diffrent and there's no relays
Revision C and Revision D could do new protocol CH-CAN
In newer cars CH-CAN
Adam - EPS
Zafira C - IMU, SAS, SADS
Insignia - IMU, SAS, SADS
Mokka - IMU, SAS
Cascada - IMU, SAS, SADS
Astra J - IMU, SAS, SADS
Apera - IMU, SAS
So you need at least Revision C to connect to this controlers
But as I said there's no newer hardware version for sell in china
I will repeat this "new" hardware opcom v6 it is not new. It is modificated because it is using a fake PIC

Try like this and report please
Downgrade your firmware in your HQ clone to the fw 139 using OCflash
Then install opcom 121231h or opcom121231i ( english version )
Then plug the tool to the USB and try to connect to a car ( the tool not connected to a car )
The software will upgrade the firmware in yiur interface to the fw 1.47 or 1.59 ( I don't know now but I can check later to be sure ) and then try in that Astra G.
You'll see that it will works like a charm.
@titon - when you mean old you mean the date - 2007 (on mine it is write 2014 ) or you're talking about Revision B hardware ( because $I mentioned above there's no other harware sold by chinese )
JFI - the opcom hardwares are made in china but moding and softwares or this solution it wasn't sold in china anymore.

your opinion is concerned, I think there is going very wrong, I think I've been deceived by a compatriot of mine, I saw a HQ opcom clone in a forum
and is a little different from mine

I can tell you is that it is very very bad for diagnosing opel ASTRA G
I have not tried in another car

Did you try older version for HQ cause i have had problems with mine on a Vectra B and corsa C with latest Software an fw1.60
I downgraded software an firmware to 1.59 now it reads ecu

200 euro is too much for it as matty an others have stated in this forum
