RE: help not sure what stage map is needed
Stages are just a generic term, you will have to write the map to suit the car and its parts, normally stage 1 is at the limits at stock turbo/injectors but depends on too many things. Stage 2 could be a a bigger/hybrid turbo, intercooler and injectors etc

Just because it has straight through and intercooler you can't go to stage 2, make sure you adjust n75/boost solenoid maps because the car has straight through or it will overboost and damage the turbo over time

Also you say forced induction, the car already is forced induction... Turbocharged induction

It depends what bottlenecks first

Agree with walshy.
Stage numbers are useless and mean nothing. It just sounds cool when you tell your friends, as popularized by Fast and Furious.

It's always best to describe all your mods and have a tune properly matched to that.

Why do I believe this?

Well I have tuned my own EDC17C50 F30 BMW 320d after about a year of studying funktionsrahmen and lots of time building my own damos, with lots of good contacts at BMW corporate and elsewhere. This is a complex ecu, but very possible. Tuned it like factory, not against factory, so it works phenomenally.

Result? 250hp and 550Nm on dyno at engine. Stock turbo, stock exhaust, stock fuel system, DPF operational, and weeks and weeks of logging egt and everything else for safety. It's very possible if you do it right, with great results. Even improved fuel efficiency by 5%. It has been driven over 30,000 km with zero issues. It took 38 flashes of testing to get where it is now. And not just power, but drivability, and a lot of driving behaviours.

So what "stage" is it? It's making more power than most "Stage 1", and even the Stage 2.
