Hi guys changed a gearbox on a BMW 140i ista was showing ESG programming / encoding error coding done with ista but still won't change  gears no fault codes after programming is there any thing else i need to do.?

You must read out the ISN from CAS and write it into the EGS.
You need Special Tools like BMW Explorer or Autohex.

Your'e wrong. Explorer can reset even on G-series bmw - there's no CAS. Do conclusions

I can delete the ISN in every Fxx Gxx 8HP EGS, but I live in Germany.

BMW Explorer now claims to be capable of clearing 8HPXX EGS ISNs using only OBD port. Maybe someone here with the latest Explorer can attempt to clear EGS ISN's via Teamviewer? It may not work but it's worth a shot give the alternatives...

Yes, and it is not a "claim"

I can do it (reset EGS ISN) via TeamViewer, write PM.
