Needing remote coding
I installed a CIC idrive remote on my NBT EVO retrofit. I just need some simple coding to make the new iDrive remote work.

Bimmer Retrofit did the NBT EVO retrofiting and coding. I installed everything. I purchased a brand new iDrive controller (pic attached). The new iDrive controller isn't working with my setup. I'm assuming I need coding, correct? The car is a 2008 bmw 135i. |

Is this wire something I must order from dealership? Thank you for your above and beyond help. I also don't understand why don't you contact bimmer retrofit and ask for advice or help , they always claim that they have best service after sale , lets see how ture is that . It's been quite a hell of a ride with these people at Bimmer Retrofit. All they want is $$$$$$$ and they refuse to help me, they reply stating that I need installer. I dont have an installer in South Florida that'll help me with this. I've asked all stereo installers and they say no or dont bother replying to my emails. I haven't been able to connect my phone to my car yet for Car PLay or Bluetooth since day 1. I get the following error Can't connect to vehicle when I attempt. I bought the radio from a 3rd party seller on ebay, from there I sent Bimmer Retrofit everything for coding and bench testing. They shipped everything back with their emulator and all necessary hardware coded too. They refuse to help me, because I didnt buy the radio from them. |
