Looking for new thoughts. F10 key fob not working as it should.
Car has comfort access - it works.
Remote lock/unlock - works.
But I always get message "Remote key not in vehicle" but it is in vehlicle and I can not start the car only in emergency mode (fob placed near steering column areal). Tried to change all inside areals, tried to change fob battery, tried to make a new key - result always the same... What could it be? Also thru ista no errors found... it seems that key ID can not be verified/identified but near steering colum it is identified as it should (ofcourse because car starts then).

Last time this thing happened to me, we had made two keys checked the aerial, changed batteries but it had same thing, lastly we bought brand new aerials and problem was solved

Any way to check/detect faulty arial without osciloscope?

There is an aerial test in ISTA. Tried it? It has the facility to test incoming signals. Car cant log an error if it cant see the key because it assumes key not there for real!
