I don't understand your reply though.  Can you explain what you are talking about with the "integrated security card"?

Based off what I see on the website an original VCP 2.0 interface is an even better candidate for use with ODIS.  The question is can ODIS recognize the VCP interface?

On a side note, has anyone noticed how much the VCP 2.0 interface looks like the VAS 5054A?  VCP probably designed their interface using a VAS 5054A Clone and modified it to function properly with their software. Once they were able to spec their own unit they found a mass producer in China to build their own quality interfaces for the same or less as a clone VAS 5054A.

Will not help you on this. Had enough with making Xhorse J2534 windows XP driver compatible with HDS for Honda in windows x64 environment.

That sounds super involved but you're taking a super old OS driver into a new environment whereas the drivers for VCP already exist.  There will be no driver issues involved in making this work. In fact my guess is that this would be a plug and play operation.  If tweaking is needed I would think it would be mild.  The only problem would arise if the VCP doesn't represent itself as a SAE J2534 complaint device.  By definition of everything it does it is SAE J2534 compliant just like the VAS 5054A is SAE J2534 complaint but that doesn't mean VCP represents itself to Windows that way.

So what you based of what you have written now, you are saying you have the VCP device driver installed and plugged into the computer and a newer VAG vehicle but ODIS (any version) does not recognize the hardware on your computer.  If you can confirm these details this thread will be answered until someone can speak a different experience.

As far as proof that what VCP does makes it complaint to J2534 for at least VAG vehicles please see the following SAE J2534-1 standards and the 2534-2 standards.  Because you are using VCP to reprogram factory computers you are preforming the functions that SAE J2534 was designed for.  That does not mean the creators have it reporting as that software to Windows obviously and for money making purposes maybe they don't want it to be reported to Windows that way.  Based on your reply this appears to be the case so the task of modifying things to get it recognized by ODIS is much like the task you undertook mentioned in your previous post for HDS.

Can you at least provide the current configuration interface you are using weather it be VCP or ODIS?  If you are using ODIS what interface are you using? If VCP are you using original or clone?
