F10 hu_champ prgramming failed with ISTA.
Good Day

Any tips how to get the headunit back to life? 
F10 03/10 built with HU_CHAMP
Programmed whole car with ISTA with router and ICOM. Only programming headunit failed.
Tried to flash with Esys. Bootloader goes fine, Flashing Swfl gives out this "Service RC_EM_AE returned a negative response with response code conditionsNotCorrect" Error, Ibad goes ok.
All flash goes through UDS. I can understand because no ethernet wired to the headunit. Old Metal ZGW.
NO CD in the headunit and also in the DVD Changer. And no USB attached.

Tried with Enet too also used latest Esys same error when flashing SWFL.
Another instance was with another F10 same build also flashed with ISTA at the dealership. Same headunit, also goes in Programming abort. Customer was doing NBT retrofit so he didnt care.
I can access the headunit with tool32. Most of the command give out "ECU out of range".
Any Ideas?

Tried to flash only IBAD it went through ok without any errors.. Don’t know why SWFL fails??

ISTA will brick all HU_CHAMP units in F series and Mini R56 if flashed to newest software.
Older HW doesnt support newer software...

Where do you have this from? I have flashed many champ. Not one fail.

From the experience of 50+ bricked units in official service.

CIC-MID 8GB internal memory also from Harman Becker bricks when updated to newest maps.
On this forum I recovered 4 CHAMP units from the members that bricked them when updating to the newest SW.

Update
Couldn’t revive the unit. Solved it by replacing with another unit for the customer.
