Alfa Stelvio after battery replacement wont turn
Hi Everybody
Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2018 2.2 diesel After battery replacement wont turn on... On dashborad show all Faults, ABS,ESP,AIRBAG, exactly everything... Baterry was changed properly, First ground, next plus. Baterry is totally original. Milage on the dashborad is pulse flashing. All fuses checked, all ok. ECU doesn't respond. Is it any possibility to unblock car? or somebody know solution of that mistery case ? |

RE: Alfa Stelvio after battery replacement wont turn
Probably there was a short circuit and you may need to check your fuses carefully (i can't think that there wasn't any protection in a 2018 car). If your fuses are fine, then you may need to open the ecu and do some visual inspection on pcb and every component.
Also, keep in mind that to correctly remove a battery you need to remove the negative terminal first, then the positive and to install a battery you need to connect the positive terminal first, then the negative. |

RE: Alfa Stelvio after battery replacement wont turn
I checked all fuses. Only interior blower fun fuse was burned. In engine comparment on the right side are two boxes with fuses. In one of them there is no power but I dont know is it functional fuses and power is after for example after turning on lights.

RE: Alfa Stelvio after battery replacement wont turn
ok going to appear an idiot here (but hey ho) had this years ago and found I had missed a wire and not connected it to the battery terminal.
not saying you have same problem but take out battery again and check there arnt any connectors on the main wires that have come unplugged ,maybe if the cables were pulled out of the way etc . may account for lack of power to fuse box etc. |

RE: Alfa Stelvio after battery replacement wont turn
Friends case solved!
Battery after charging were damaged. We didnt checked first the voltage. Voltage was 8v max. For led lamps it was enought and some modules. Ecu need 10.5 or more. After replacement and delete all ecu faults all comes again good. Stupid mistake... thanks for help! |
