hi all,

i have just replaced NBT head unit in 2015 F15 X5 andi have deleted and imported fsc codes using tool32 and e-sys.

the problem i am getting now is when i select navigation i get the following message on screen

"To start the navigation, please enter the activation code."


i am guessing that this is because the map in the replacement NBT is different to the original NBT.

how can i find out what map is on this replacement unit??

I would try generating FSC code from DE FSC that you've imported using E-Sys.

Does not matter what map is on it.
Get original fsc files or fake ones, load them up and generate map update code using the DE fsc file with the fsc code generator that is available on that forum.
Of course fsc files you will load need to VIN match the car. Unless you use an emulator

it took me a number of tries with various different options but i finally got it to work using the generator
