Hi everyone,
I am new in ecu programming but working as IT professional ()

I replaced engine in my Volvo V50 with older but its was not working well and in another car repair shop we found out that guys which were doing this repairment edited my ecu to ignore all errors.

So I've bought KTAG, BDM100, KESS and Galleo that I will repair it :
 managed to read and save my eeprom and flash files. After that I tried to write original flash file back but it crashed. Then I tried to write EEPROM and it crashed again. (do not ask why I am beginner in this field but now I know)
Problem was in low voltage I think...After that I bought some el. source with stable voltage and after several atempts I manged to successfuly write flash through BDM100.

Problem is that I am not able to read EEPROM and my backup of these files have been lost after restoring snapshot of virtual machine where I was working - seems that these files are definetely lost
(very professional I know to keep these files on virtual machine....)

My question is.
Is it possible to get it working again with some virgin EEPROM if I don't know the PIN from the original EEPROM?
Or any other solution?

Your problem started working on virtual machine. 
Now you need to tell us more info about the ecu....HW/SW.....ect.
Can you read ecu on diagnostic?
If yes the flash is ok. 
Now you need good eeprom and need to synch the ecu to the car.

What is the problem with virtual machine in your opinion?
After 2 weeks of pain I think now I have it set quite nicely
(If I don't count this incident with restore but belive me - this is not going to happed again ever) 

SW/HW - Need to check in garage.

I haven't been in car repair shop yet, so I can't tell you if it can be readed with diag...
Or is it possible to do that directly with ECU with the tools I have without a need to put it back to the car?

What do you mean by new eeprom and sync the ecu to the car?
Is there any way how to sync new eeprom with the car without the PIN from original one? (in case I am not able to read it with diag...)

BTW I still have working SID 803 (without A). Is there any chance to make my car work with this ECU?
This older one have been in the car from where I took the engine so basicly its the original one to this engine.
What should I do to make it work? I also have the wrecked V50 with all the stuff.
