Still same problem unfortunately.

Ok, next try. Replace RheingoldDiagnostics.dll and revert last Test with RheingoldCoreFramework.dll.

Ok i will try. Customer is living 1 hour from me so getting pretty annoyed by this.  speechless

I am not able to try this out as i am having way to many problems with 4.18.xx, so im downgrading to 4.17 again untill i know the newer softwares are more stable and have got a solution for the older cars aswell. Im sorry! I just lost my customer due to this.  doh

From what I saw from the logs problem is because from old car only 7 character VIN is read. So then it tries to contact online server to (I guess) convert 7 char VIN to full VIN. And it fails. I'm not sure it is possible to fix this via a simple patch. This behaviour seems logical as BMW began to reuse 7 char VINs. Maybe identifying a car via manual full VIN entry instead of automatic would help...

The car in question was 4 years older than this and E39. Maybe you have access to any similar car?
