Hello friends

there is a problem when installing BMW ETK, clean Windows 10 home
I start the installation as usual, but at the final stage it gives an error.
I tried different versions 07/2019, 03/2019.
there is no antivirus, java updated.
any thoughts?

Did you run setup "as administrator" ?

The program offers 49778 and 49779, I tried it like this.

I also tried to change to 1043 and 1044

Hm ... is your UAC still on ?
It looks to me that you have problems with right managment in Windows. 
Can you try to install it to another location ? Maybe second Partiton D: if exists ?

I disabled UAC and chose another directory, but the problem persists (



I found a description of my error, it seems the problem with Java, unfortunately the solution was not saved

I think I know your problem. When window appears telling you not to click ok until you are told to, you click it too early. So database is not saved to disk properly. And hence you can't login into it.

I got some problems with ETK (07/2019) recently with transbase error during an update, so i decided to make a fresh install by removing the program through the Windows / Control Panel / Uninstall program but unfortunaltely it not solve the issue. Always, after a new try it failed.
So after several attempts, instead of removing the failed ETK with windows, i remove ETK with the Setup.exe.
Clicking on Setup.exe, i got a window with Modify, Repair or Remove, I select Remove and it completely remove ETK. And next, i click again on Setup.exe to install ETK and it worked perfectly.
I hope it could help.

Maybe you can try doing a clean install by deleting all the files manually before trying to try it again. Hope it helps.
