Hello,
I have an Audi A3 with navigation system MIB1 type MHIG_EU_AU_P1531 I updated the firmware with the latest version, but I can not perform the map update. The map SD card is not recognized by my GPS There may be a specific procedure to perform because it does not work. Can anyone give me information about this? I tried to go in the classic menu it does not work, and in the red menu it does not work either. This always inscribes that there is nothing on the SD card |

When not recognized, then you have maybe no valid License for the Map anymore. Audi only gave License for new Cars for 3 Full Years
You have to go to Audi Dealer and renew license. They can give one time renewal and also again something like More Time Renewal (till 2021/2022 map). More Time renewal was about 250 Euro and 40 Euro for applying it. If my answer helped to fix anything, then don't forget to give me some rep please!

Not true,2019 isnt available for MIB1,only MIB2,that is why it is not recognized.
Last available update was 2018/2019 for MIB1. |

Where can I downloads maps for MIB1 ? I also have more than 3Y car.
Is there any way (other than Audi dealer) to activate maps update for other years ? Thank you |
