Hello together,

has anyone the  SP-Daten for R056 very close to 2010-11 (but later as that date)?

Background:
A friend has an R56 from 11-2010. We updated the MOVE (Champ2) map to 2019. At 76% the navi snapped, rebooted and since then the navigation menu is greyed out.

This weekend we will try several solutions.

Starting from:
1. Try to update to an earlier map.
2. Code with an empty MAN file.
3. Try to erase the map with Tool32 and reinstall map
4. Using FSTools to check and import missing certificates.
5. Flash the Champ2 to a newer level. But not too new because that could causing issues along the other ECUs.
That is why I am asking for a newer level but still close to the production date.

You shouldn't apply the newest maps if I-level is so old. On your place I would just update all ecus with winKFP to the newest I-level and it should work just fine with the 2019 maps.

Any idea until which date the Champ2 received i-Level updates?

Usually I'd do that but I am a little scared every time I flash a whole E-Modell.
So, I would first try to just update the Champ2.

ISTA-P would just do the job as well, wouldn't it?

Date for R056 from the newest SP-daten (3.66.1) is 03-2017 and I-level is R056-17-03-504 
ISTA-P should handle all of it. In case of any faults in specific modules, you can update them with winKFP.

However if you want to update Champ2 first, then you need to use WinKFP, because ISTA-P will handle all of the ECU's. After update of Champ2, you can update the rest with ISTA-P.

I have 3.66.1 but I doubt that Champ2 will be updated to 2017. It would be interesting to know what the last i-Level just for the Champ2 is. Probably updates stopped around 2012 (would be my guess).

WinKFP and afterwards is a good idea.

Actually, it doesn't matter from which year is latest ZB for champ2, since I-level is designed for all ECU's and last update for all the ECU's is 03-2017. With that, you should be able to put any maps, without any problems.
