CAS3 Comfort Access questions
Hey guys, I'm doing mail-in keys for a few regional BMW groups, and I had a few questions about comfort access. I am reading the CAS via BDM process to avoid the dangers of a bad downgrade and to avoid ELV/DME sync issues when I mail back CAS and keys. The challenge is with comfort access being restricting to 2 fobs. To enable the new key, I need to either disable the missing key, or code the PA_ID_GEBER function with NCS to allow for 4 fobs.
What is the best way to do this? Do I need to build a bench? |

Enabling or disabling key you can do with proper software (vvdi, cgdi etc). If you want to coding CAS you need bench... If I helped, please magic buttons thx+rep

RE: CAS3 Comfort Access questions
Are you referring to disabling key in dump and writing back?

RE: CAS3 Comfort Access questions
It depends. If key is lost better to disabling them...anti thief approach
But on the other hand if you want to do more then cas, bench setup is needed. You can connect modules like in car and do what you need - coding, flashing etc. I use my bench mostly for testing key, frm, dash and navi. But i can connect every module I need because bench have external port for can, pt-can, lin buses If I helped, please magic buttons thx+rep
