ZF 8HP45Z SAT problem
Hello dear friends,
Is there a ZF Specialist here on the forum? I have a little problem with my F20 automatic transmission. The gearbox is a ZF 8HP45Z with 2TB(SAT) factory enabled. The problem with this gearbox would be the 1-2-3 / 3-2-1 shifts. They are not smooth all the time. Somethimes the gear shift is super smooth, and sometimes a "punch" can be felt when 1-2-3 gears are shifted. I have replaced the oil twice, but the symptom still persists  . After replacing the oil, the adaptation of the gearbox were deleted using ISTA-D. Attached to this post, are the new adaptation values of the gearbox. Can someone tell me what those adaptation mean? I don`t have any clue if they are normal, or out of range.Thank you. |

The values are not bad, but not the best in some places.

Also, i found on the internet, that after resetting the transmission adaptation, there is a adaptation procedure. But again...for 6HP. For 8HP didn't found nothing. |

It's way easyer for me to replace the entire transmission than try to repair the existing one. I found one on a local buyng/selling website with only 120000km. |
