RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Even you post in two threads same thing i will repair to you
Share pics with your both sides of PCB and if your tool has a real PIC MCU then it is logically to be able to upgrade the firmware in it
But you only one who will risk.
Me I never had this kind of tools in muy hand because it is too old ( if you have the hardware that I saw it in some pics shared in other forum by my old friend manocao
Lets see the pics first
Good luck

Hi,

I tested but K-line NOT working only CAN.
Relay are switching but not communication.
On the picture is connection between pin 23 (MCU) to pin 4 (L9637), but it's mistake, it´s need to connect on pin 1 (L9637). Pin 4 (L9637) is connect to pin 19 (MCU)
I measured according to the PCB v5, but still Kline NOT woking sad

Yes, I have op-com schematic form the internet, but that is mistake. Real measuring on PCB V5 is:
PIN4 is Rx --------> PIN19 Tx
Pin1 is Tx --------> PIN23 Tx

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
I have Bulgarian OPCOM HQ version 131223c EN. HW is the same as PCB V5 2007. The differences are only in firmware FW 1.60 and FTDI PID. Whole protection is in FTDI CHIP ID. FTDI PID is possible change.
Is need to do a FTDI CHIP ID emulator....
