RE: Kafas heating error 800AC5
from kafas2 there's a resistance to warm it, you will see that there are two pins in windshield

Because if that’s the case my only option would be to replace the windshield, something I’m not very fond of... thanks, |

RE: Kafas heating error 800AC5
Use a 50 Ohm resistor in the 2 pin's from the windshield and fake the heater with that.
If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.

Was thinking to use some liquid silver to re-trace the interrupted path. Or to use a circuit repair kit (such as Permatex 09117). Tried to remove the camera assembly (the circuit is discontinued somewhere in the lower part) but it feels so flimsy, not that keen to pull it too hard. Tried youtube - checked all windshield replacement videos but none actually featured the removal of the kafas... kinda stuck here. Any suggestions? edit: newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f32-430d-cou/repair-manuals/51-body-equipment/51-16-mirrors-finishers-ashtrays-consoles/1KuKMJDD Problem fixed with Permatex, the error is gone. |
