W639 eis clone help
Hello,
Need some advice from CT experts.
I’ve got some mechanical problems with W639 EIS, sometimes doesn’t want to work. I’ve bought a second hand EIS. What is the easiest and least complicated way to replace it? To avoid any key programming, etc.
I haven’t got online Xentry access, but I’ve got fully working offline version, have Vediamo as well.
I’ve got VVDI Prog, but haven’t got W639 adapter.
Can I read somehow the old EIS data and write it down into second hand EIS, to clone it? Would it work? Or any other options available?
Thanks in advance

Hey,
Connection to Processor is in VVDI prog diagrams.Option 4 Immobiliser, Benz, Then choose Processor.  R2 processor ha data for key etc. R1 processor has data for ODO
Should be able to read ORI & write to replacement. Have got connection diagram for R1 if you need it. My 639 Also had EIS issues, until mileage correction. Now is good  (For now)

Cheers

RE: W639 eis clone help
Is there any special steps when you do cloning, anything I should know before I try to read and write data? What the risk is doing with VVDI Prog?
Is there anything we should do after cloning and replacing the part, like scn coding online any adaptations, teachin procedures or it would be like plug and play?
As I understand if you clone it shouldn’t be any problems regarding Keys.

Is there any difference if you do read/write with mcu reflash v2 cable or v3. Cause mine is still old version and vvdi prog has instructions about modifying it, but the connection diagram shows still v2.
