Touareg - Level control
Hello friends.
The touareg had air leak in the bag on the left, was resolved. Vehicle is uneven, left side low and right side high. My conscience is: how to perform the basic level adjustment? I'm answering remotely via ODIS. The setting is a control unit: Level regulation (7L0907553J), but with "subfunction" that is unknown or not supported. In this situation, what could be done? Someone help, waiting .. Sorry, the message is as follows: ERROR_NRC_SubFunctionNotSupported: ServiceId: ResponseCode Via ODIS it is possible?? VAG is a solution?? |

I did sometimes in some touaregs of first gen, and, Odis, Vagcom, and other scanners like bosch and launch can do this basic calibration, and if I recall correctly in the rosstechwiki there is a step by step how to do it, if I recall correctly, you need a flat floor, with no irregularities, to be with scantool connected, engine running, doors closed, open the basic calibration (i dont recall what channel it is), access with access code, than a the scantool will tell you with whell you have to measure with a measuring tape from the centre of the wheel until the wheel arch, than you put this value in millimeters to the software, after you perform all of that in all 4 wheels than you save the value and finish the basic calibration, I hope this help you out |

RE: Touareg - Level control
Thank you, my friend for your help.
The basic adjustment processes of ODIS and VAG are equivalent. However, in ODIS when executing the basisadjustment function no password or code is required. During basic tuning, channel 2 has no communication and at the end returns message "subsystem does not work or does not exist". However, we are performing a road test and there are communication signals. |

RE: Touareg - Level control
We are checking the left front shock absorber as a possible cause of the unevenness.
The left front is low and the right rear is high. Damaged left front bumper, in this case could overload the air spring? |
