You must turn off driver signing

Press on the surface of Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 "Windows key" + "I" (i like Ida). To get into the settings area of the Charms menu. Click on Turn Off. Now hold down the Shift key and select "Reset". After that, a new menu, in which you appear successively with

"Troubleshooting"
"Advanced Options"
"Startup Settings"
"Restart"
perform a reboot of the system to the initial settings.

After the boot process comes a new menu where you can switch by entering the F7 key driver signing.

Hi Mikail , many thanks for your reply , I have turned driver signing off as you suggested and it has installed , but have now got a yellow exclamation mark on the USB port itself , even though clearly it has installed , not too fab with computers , so I;m at a loss as what to do now . Its this I thinkk is stopping me from using opcom , but not yet tested with the car as yet .
Thank you for your reply and taking time to help , any ideas as what to do now bud.drive

Do you have other software installed eg. vcds? If so remove it because it conflicts.

Better install on Windows XP, and disable all anti-virus software and firewall. Share a video on opcom 2009V installation: http://youtu.be/zd9kWO7AKRc

I use this version Ghost Windows Xp Professional Sp3

Funny... VCDS and OPCOM were never in "conflict" programs

Quality tool as the beautiful woman...
