Hello everyone,
I had plans to activate carplay on my vehicle (BMW Serie 4, NBTEVO_J, Road Map Europe 2019-2). I coded with BimmerCode the following options:

M_LAPTIMER => aktiv
CARPLAY_SWT => aktiv
APPLE_ENHANCEMENTS-> aktiv
AUX1_IN_HU => wert_21
CID_DISP_AR => ratio_1_07
A4A_SWT => aktiv
A4A_XL => nicht_aktiv
A4A_KML => nicht_aktiv

Then I used HUTool 2.6 to generate the FULL FSC SWT SET with my VIN (G853705). I copied the generated .bin to a USB stick and followed the procedure for the patch to be applied (wait 30s, remove the key, reboot, then wait for automatic reboot). Unfortunately, CARPLAY is not activated and my navigation no longer works (message "loading" all the time). When I try to reinstall my GPS map, a message tells me that you need an activation code associated with the map ....

Can someone help me and tell me what I did wrong?

HUTool 2.6 works well for me and my customers.
Remember it works with i-step below 11-18; but no worry, carplay fullscreen can work with istep 0318 (530) or 0718.
Check your HU istep first to make sure it work with HU patch.

I ordered an ENET cable but I have not already received so I can’t check i-step but it’s NBTEVO_J so it should be compatible with USB activation method no ?

Do you know why this patch has an impact on my navigation map which doesn’t work anymore ?

No, I just put usb stick with FSC HUTool patch...

I may not have fully understood how it works. What is the role of the bin file generated by HUTool on the USB stick? I thought the bin file would automatically transfer the fsc to the central unit and automatically activate carplay in a single step ??

First copy the bin file alone to the usb stick, then use esys to upload the fsc
The role of the bin file is to patch the head unit, to use fake fsc codes

For the map FSC file, you can load it with USB stick too.

1. prepare a clean FAT32 formatted USB stick
2. create "FSC" folder in the USB stick, and then put the map FSC file inside the folder
3. create a empty file "config.nfm" in the USB stick

plug this USB stick to the car.

 I tried to do this procedure but unfortunately Nothing happen on my screen …
I tried also to rename in FSC_MyVIN_0120xxxx.fsc at the root or on FSC folder and Nothing too ...
