nowdays, if unit works, selftest is OK & it does not rattle. It`s good.

Check the images, and if possible, add mcll 10uf capacitors in the rele board when you look for a good quality one.

definitely with, but problem is that even "branded" chips are mostly cheap fakes. 
nowadays even printing on some board is unacceptable quality.
another issue is that they trying to save pennies and bypass fuses. 
and problem is cables quality. over last few years they are thinner and thinner. 
now is quantity not quality.
9 of 10 should be re-worked before first use. 
maybe 1 of 10 goes through test before dispatch.
