Here are the Mercedes instructions

The following addons are required:
- XENTRY version 05/2017: addon 7664
- XENTRY version 07/2017: addon 7665

Xentry 07-2019 with all the addon's updated does not appear to have the "COMAND Online control unit
(A40/3) -> "Special procedures" tab -> Navigation data (hard drive): Erase data." option

I can provide the details on how to unlock and delete the hard drive partition after it is removed !!

I'm not yet ready to remove my Comand harddrive. Strange that newer versions of Xentry does not have the updates with option for erasing data from hardrive.

Wonder where to get those addons.

I have used the V11 in the link, and now I'm stuck at the "insert DVD1" and it will not go away.

I did find an option to make "hard drive active/non active, which can not but undocumented", Whatever that all means...

Xentry 07-2017 was still available on torrent, finding all the fixes maybe difficult...

OK, I believe I found the navigation data erase option. It is not specific to a Xentry version.

Diagnosis > A40/3 - Comand online (Comand) > Tests (last tab) > Miscellanous > Check of navigation data update.

I check this and it looks like it is only a suggestion, and you cant select this and make it do it.

I was thinking that Xentry has to find one of those errors listed, before proceeding;
Does it show error 9545 as present ??
If so, What happens if you click "Continue" with the error 9545 showing ?

I hade the car on service today and they fixed this problem at the same time. Deleted the maps from harddrive and put in the newest version.
