A client bringt us his opel insignia, the old cluster is dead. He buyed an used one but the car now shows this protection. We have the security code, and every possible official software: gds2, tech2, opcom

We tried by reprogramming the keys, doesn't work.

 The DTC in the body/cluster section shows incorrect code, like it doesn't match the car one. 

Is there a specific way to reset or reprogramming the cluster?

It needed to be virginised on the original car first.

Hello do you still have old cluster if so open and remove the eeprom from cluster and see if you can read the data and post it here.

If eeprom still has correct data you can copy it into the eeprom of the new cluster and then it will accept the program of the security code but be sure to save data from new cluster eeprom before you do anything so you can revert back if needed.

Also you didn't really need to mess with key as it is programmed into bcm as far i remember ive done the above on insignia 2010 bcm when it was replaced i used hq 170283 opcom to program key and it worked
