XZBMW  BMW X5 2004 DASH PINOUT
Hi,

I'm looking for a pinout to read the eeprom on this cluster. Previous guy has almost destroyed the coil windings on the needles by trying to pull them off. The eeprom is on the reverse side of the board. Does anybody know if there are programming points on the back of the board?

Mate, sorry, this is pinout for old tacho with 93c eeprom inside. MY 2004 have inside 35080 or even 35080V6 (late 2004 and 2005). This is correct pinout for Xprog, but if inside is 35080V6, Xprog can not erase incremental area. With R270 (in circuit) I don`t test, if it works. Early MY with 35080 on board Xprog make without any problem.

Thanks. Can you give clearer instructions for xprog connections please. I get vpp overload then usb device not recognised with the configuration in your picture. Works fine reading other chips so xprog ok.

**EDIT i saw it at the bottom of the screen. Either i need a bigger screen, glasses or new eyes. Will try now and let you know**
