Hi, can someone check my CS-Bytes: 73 40 AA 4E E6 81 54


I tried to make a dealer key.
first i converted the Id48 blank to Can tp23, then i wrote cs_bytes and locked the Transponder.
Then I wanted to learn the key on the vehicle, but it is not added.

I dont no whats wrong ! Cs-Bytes or or the procedure ???


I used this image to convert to Can Tp23:

VW CAN CHIP:

WORD F - 42 FC
WORD E - 00 00
WORD D - 0A 51

With what tool are you using ?

If fvdi skip the t23 bit and go straight to make dealer key

i use effi and zedbull, because i am only learning it privately on my car, not commercial.

When you write the cs bytes onto transponder you make it dealer key locked to your car
And now you need obd device to learn it to car using pim code

thanks, I had tried via VCDS and pin, then 2 keys selected, as far as ok, but if I want to add the 2nd key, it will not be accepted. I have always locked the key after writing the cs-bytes

your cs is correct

I don't know about vvds but you to put 3 keys number when want to learn if you put 2 it will not accept
Or your new transponder is locked wrong
Try virgin transponder and write cs on it without precode it
